Daniel Maxwell is a Lecturer and University Supervisor in the Office of School and Community Partnerships and the Department of Middle, Secondary, and K-12 (MDSK) Education. As a University Supervisor, Daniel supervises student teaching candidates during their student teaching and internship placements in schools across North Carolina. Daniel also teaches introductory courses on lesson planning, instructional design, and assessment and leads the student teaching seminar for candidates completing their student teaching internship. Before teaching at UNC Charlotte, Daniel taught high school social studies, and he remains a National Board Certified Teacher in Adolescent & Young Adult Social Studies/History. Daniel regularly leads professional development workshops for educators about instructional design, education technology, and support for early career teachers.
